Released on February 15, 2016, the 2016 Yeezy Boost 350 ‘ Pirate Black ‘ is identical to the 2015 launch of Yeezy Boost 350 ‘ Pirate Black ‘ except for its upgraded heel inside padding and softer suede on its branded medial patches. The Yeezy Boost 350 ‘Turtle Dove’ was the second shoe released in the adidas Yeezy collection after the Yeezy Boost 750 ‘OG.’ First seen on Kanye and his models at the Yeezy Season 1 fashion show in February 2015, this colorway was anointed 2015’s Shoe of the Year at the Footwear News 29th Annual Achievement Awards. The Yeezy 350 ‘Turtle Dove’ will restock in April 2022.
Originally launched in 2015, the Yeezy Boost 350 ‘Turtle Dove’ is the first released color in the 350 series. Unveiled at Madison Square Garden’s Yeezy Season 3 presentation, the 350 V2 ‘ Beluga ‘ Yeezy Boost dropped on September 24, 2016. The evolved Yeezy Boost 350 V2 silhouette features a two-tone gray Primeknit and a laterally branded solar red stripe with SPLY-350. The midfoot suede panel was removed on the medial side and the pull tab was replaced by a new elastic fit.
The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Black Non-Reflective’ emerges with an almost-monochromatic look on its signature construction. The shoe’s upper is built with Primeknit, finished in black and complemented by a tonal monofilament stripe through the design. A touch of red brings color to the heel loop, while underfoot, a Boost midsole provides cushioning. The TPU shell that overlays the midsole continues down onto the rubber outsole for traction.
